TELLER TRAINING CERTIFICATE PROGRAM This 12 week program is designed for foreign trained professionals with a background in the banking and finance industry. It consists of five individual courses which will prepare participants with the knowledge and skills required to be successful in the position of Teller. Graduates will earn the Today’s Teller Certificate from the American Banking Association and the Center for Financial Training & Education Alliance, a nationally recognized credential. The Today’s Teller curriculum will be co-taught by employers from local banks and credit unions including, Bank of America, Gorham Savings Bank, Bangor Savings, cPort Credit Union, and Infinity Credit Union. Students will also participate in courses covering Customer Service for Banking, Basic Math, Basic Computer, and Job Search Strategies. Successful students will have the opportunity to meet directly with employers for mock interviews and other networking opportunities.
